Hi

I have a typeface with three axes and eight masters, but two of the masters are duplicates. I’d like to hide them from the GUI so I don’t have to edit them twice. (as the optical size decreases, the contrast axis gets narrow until the four masters converge into two)

can i do that in Glyphs app?

Is this already possible?

It is. Use a “Duplicate Master” parameter in the font settings.

</div>

It doesn’t seem to work for me.

The coordinates I enter should be the new coordinates for the “new” master, right?

Couldn’t this be modelled with an avar2 table instead of duplicating masters?

thanks for the file. it is fine, but the preview in Glyphs is not respecting the duplicated master. The final variable font is fine.

Is there a way, that static fonts also get exported correctly?
