The aalt feature in my font is not working. For instance, in Indesign no alternates showing up. However, when I remove manually “feature ccmp;” in the automatically generated aalt feature, it works. Also, when I move the aalt feature to the top of the feature list, it works. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
I removed the ccmp feature from the default in aalt. By default, Glyphs sorts the aalt feature to the top of the list, but it respects the existing order…
Would you advise to put the aalt feature to the top? Tal Leming suggests it quite at the end of the list: http://opentypecookbook.com/putting-it-together.html
I added that already. If it is set to automatic, it will be move to the top.
Yes, I know. I was wondering because Lemings opentypecookbook suggests the aalt feature at the bottom of the list.
This feature should be ordered first in the font, to take precedence over other features.
