Adding missing glyphs in PostScript Type 1 outline file

Hi,

When I open a PostScript Type 1 outline file, add some missing glyphs (like č and Č) and then export it to an OpenType file, the kerning from the two files is different, the .otf doesn’t have it. Am I doing something wrong?

What is the best way to add missing glyphs to the PostScript Type 1 outline file and how to export it?

What kind of postscript font is it? A Mac suitecase or a PC .pfb? In ether case, do you have a .afm file?

It’s a Mac suitcase and I don’t have a .afm file.

I didn’t figure out how to import kerning from mac suitcases. (And usually the kerning is very limited and mostly not that good.)
