Adding Paths as Native Color Layers via Script

Hi there!
I’m working on a native color layer font and trying to add a black rectangle to each glyph. (height should always be 50 and position is always y:800, the rect width should adapt to the with of the glyph) Does somebody know how to achieve this?

You mean a “Color”-layer? To understand what you need to do, first add a rect manually and then print the path and its attributes. That should give you some ideas.
