A variable font I’ve designed is not showing on the character panel when I use “serif” in the “classification filter” in Adobe:
I’m using the following PANOSE settings on the custom filters:
Perhaps its not PANOSE and I should configure other custom parameter?
Thank you!
I don’t know what the classification filter is using. It might be something form Adobe Fonts.
And have you read this. Testing your fonts in Adobe apps | Glyphs you might not see the latest version of your font.

I’ve tried this, but didn’t work.
Is there any other way of telling the font its classification on custom parameters besides PANOSE?
Thanks
I don’t think so.
You could ask Adobe.
@ferfolio you can also ask Thomas Phinney – he worked at Adobe as a typorapher. So he may know how these algorithms work, or at least know people who do.
