Apologies if I’m missing something obvious here, but is there a way to quickly determine if two paths (i.e. the left and right side of a stroke) have the same slope? Aside from using the measurement tool and nudging/guessing to get the angles similar.
Something to the effect of a level tool.

There is a plug-in for this. Search for ‘angle’ in the plugin manager.
It is called “Show Coordinates Of Selected Nodes.glyphsReporter”; one of the very best plugins!
There is “Add Guideline” in the context menu, which give you a horizontal guideline. There is an extra function to that, which is that you select two nodes and then add guideline. It gives you one that goes through those two nodes, which you can use to check angles of other things.
