When I make a glyph from a another glyph placed as a component and mirrored, then the anchors of the placed component are gone, and I am forced to place the anchors again in the new glyph. This feels like it is either a bug or working that way because of some issue I haven’t thought of.
In this example I have made a grave from an acute. The acute has the anchors I want, but in the grave I need to place the _top anchor again.
