The hinting manual mentions: press the Update button (the grey circled arrow) next to the Alignment Zones field to make Glyphs guess the zone thickness. That was for Glyphs 2, and
the grey circled arrow is not present in Glyphs 3, is that on the to-do list?
Forgot to remove it. The automation caused more issues than benefits.
