I have asked the following question before, but am still unsure of the answer (or if there is one). I realise that I can customise the colour of the background on the foreground layer, and the colour of anything that is in the background. But is it possible to change the colour of the background layer (this means: the colour of the background that is visible when one has activated/switched to/is looking at, the background layer [I don’t mean the colour of the background glyphs seen in the foreground layer, I know how to change that]). I would like to change this colour, as I don’t like the peachy colour (it reminds me of my mother-in-law and the queen of england, both of whom I despise).
Rainer tells me that this could be solved with a plug-in. Do I look like someone who wants to write a plug-in‽
