Bold master drops (some) CFF Hints

I have a CFF hinted project with two masters – Regular and Bold. The Regular master is the hinted one. When exporting, some of the hints, particular the letter /a /A with corresponding components, wont’t make it the Bold font. My college has the same issue but with different letters. I use version 2.4 (939) and 2.4.1 (973) – same issue.

Is it the first master? And how are you checking for the hints in the CFF? With OTM?

Can you send me the .glyphs file please to support (at) (this website without www)? I will have a look.

The Bold master had a stray hint that prevented the coping of the hints.
