Bracket trick in VF not working in Illustrator & Photoshop

In a VF with one axis, some glyphs use brace, others the bracket trick. In the most recent versions of Illustrator & Photoshop the bracket trick is not working (in Indesign it’s ok). Is this a known issue?

Rule of thumb: If it works in Font Goggles, it is an Adobe bug.

I could do everything with braces. The problem is, bracket give cleaner interpolations, I have unwished forms with decimals (eg. 10,5) with braces. I noticed that Adobe does not display decimals when the axis has big values (eg. 1000). Mine has axis values from 30 to 170 (stem values). Is there an esay way to map the axis to 1000 with all braces and brackets following?

You can use Axis Location parameters in Master and Instances to change the axes ranges.
