C2sc: why or why not?

does anyone know of a more-or-less recent resource discussing which applications/languages utilize c2sc? the most recent I’ve found addresses Adobe CS5 and Flash 10, so it’s pretty old.

I’m asking because in Creative Cloud 2019, it’s not being honored at all, and I’m not sure if that’s a mistake or if it signals a change of intent across the board. I’m not seeing it discussed anywhere.

I believe it is employed together with smcp when you select the All OT Small Caps setting.

…which only exists in InDesign, but not Photoshop or Illustrator. ugh.
