For PostScript hints specifically, for some glyphs, I would rather they not be hinted - is this possible?
If you add one manual hint, this glyph will not be autohinted.
I knew about this trick, but in my example: I have a Euro, where the “C” is a component and the dashes are outlines, I don’t want the dashes to be hinted.
Then you could hint the C. After decomposing the hits will be copied in the euro and thous prevent the autohinting.
