this may be a question that has an obvious answer, but from the Glyphs 3 manual, page 170, I infer that it is perfectly possible to have overlapping TT alignment zones. Would that be correct? And would it become a problem for exporting variable fonts? — I’ve never had to use overlapping zones in TT hinting yet, but I’m currently working on a case where this option might come in handy. Therefore, I’d be happy to know.
