Style name is not "Bold’ yet it won’t connect, although I’ve successfully connected Bold to Regular. Seems like you can link only one style. Why?
This should work. But it is not advised, anyway. Because the user will never see the bold style in the menu and will be confused.
You need to remove the cursor from the linked style text field before you click the link button.
When exporting for Windows, it’s a choice between clutter (all styles listed alphabetically) or confusion (bold styles not listed).
But most foundries I know, only link the Regular and Bold. And that is the recommendation form Adobe and FontLab.
unfortunately that does not work for me either, even after these advice

Please send your .glyphs file to support at this domain dot com and a short explanation how you intend to link your styles. I’ll have a look at it.
