Can't make native Color font; now crashes on export

I started to make a very simple color font. I think I followed the excellent tutorial carefully. But I couldn’t see any colors, no matter where I tried (browser, Pages, TextPreview, AffinityDesign, FontGoggles).

Soon after, Glyphs started to crash when I started to export it.

So either I’ve followed the tutorial wrong, or there are some steps that I’m missing.

Glyphs file: colorfont.glyphs.zip (3.1 KB)
