And yes, but for the video I just posted I used the MB Pro trackpad.
We just found the problem: In your video you have the Select All Layers tool active. It works in the regular Select tool. Should be fixed in the upcoming version.

Admittedly, I just had to consult the handbook to check what the “Select all” tool is… I’ve probably used this active for the last month or so without noticing any difference, probably shift+v’d by mistake sometime. That aside, I assume the guidelines should still be detected for that tool, too, no?
