Character not unicode slot after modifying existing font

I’m trying to create a new character in an existing Coptic font. As it doesn’t correspond to any of those already integrated in unicode, I placed in uniE174, where I had a series of similar characters. The character is saved in my .vfc file but it doesn’t show in the exported .ttf. I used to this sort of changes in an existing font with Fontographer, and I remember I had this sort of issue, but I can’t recollect how I had solved it. Can anyone give me a hand?

Your question would be better asked in the FontLab forum. FontLab uses .vfc files; Glyphs does not.
