I don’t like think the clean up path from Glyphs works all that well. For example, if I design some lettering using illustrator’s stroke width tool the outlined result is horrible (lots of unecessary points). But clean up paths from Glyphs doesn’t really clean it up all that nicely. Is there a plugin/tool that does a better job on this?

Have you tried using the “Simplify” command in Illustrator?
I discarded simplify paths a long time ago, so bad it was.
But as it turns out, it actually worked ok for this task, thanks.
Still think a neater clean up/simplify tool would come in handy for Glyphs.
