Colored Font for MS Word & Powerpoint

Is it possible to use colored fonts in MS Word and Powerpoint?

Certainly not PowerPoint, because it has nothing but the most basic font support.
Correct me if I am wrong, but to my knowledge, Word does not support it yet. I have hopes that the upcoming version will.
