In the tutorial on Smart Components, the author wrote: “…Glyphs created with an underscore at the beginning will be set to non-exporting by default…”
That is not the behavior I’m getting when setting up a reusable component such as a serif. Named with a beginning underscore, it still exports to the OTF font as a glyph unless I manually set it to not export.
