In many of our Italic fonts created in G2, we slanted some components using the transformation tool. However, once I open the files in G3, the components persist in unslanted forms. Is it something that is done on purpose in the new version?

You can’t slant components right now. I might fix that on some point. The problem is with decomposing the transform matrix into its pasts. Select the components in Glyphs 2 after you slanted them. The scale field will contain quite strange values. In Glyphs 3, the scale, rotation and slant are stored as individual values and so the display is more stable.
I check it I can make this work from the transform dialog.
I just had a look at it and could fix most of the issues. Thanks for the reminder.
