Hello,
Is it possible to use the conditional anchors to change the spacing in Arabic? For example, *entry would be moved to the left from the entry anchor.
Thanks!
Can you be more specific on what you are trying to do?
I already have contextual variants for a few glyphs to allow me to have different connection lengths. But I would like to kern the space between meem-ar.medi.cv02 if it’s followed by meem-ar.medi. I was wondering if it’s possible to do it with contextual anchors.
Should be.
In this case visually, it seems possible to solve by kerning. Would kerning be ignored in this case?
That depends on the feature order. If you manage to get a feature/lookup behind the curs feature, you can apply simple pair positioning on top of it. Maybe with a custom curs feature (with a # Automatic Code
on top)?
That would be great!
Indeed, I thought that kerning would be ignored. I’ll let you know if it works.
It works! Tank you very much Georg & Tosche
