Copy and Paste from Illustrator and Affinity Designer

I have a problem copying paths from the latest versions of Illustrator and Affinity Designer using the latest version of Glyphs (beta and stable).

Regardless of the position of the origin in both programs and relative position of the paths to the origin, in Glyphs the paths are positioned by their bounding box at 0,0.

I have tried the tutorial for Illustrator but to no avail.

In Glyphs 2.5.1 1141 this was working while pasting from illustrator.

This is probably the same as issue as the one discussed here. It is fixed in the upcoming beta.
