Copy Glyph so that the copy is a component of the original?

Hello,

I’d like to create a copy of “A” so that the copy “A.001” contains the original “A” already as component (and not the as path outlines).
Is that possible? Ideally, I’d like to to this with the entire character set.

Thank you
Johannes

Have a look in here, it should point you in the right direction. https://glyphsapp.com/tutorials/recipes

thanks @RobPratley ! will try!

Hints:

  1. You can right-click and copy glyph names of all selected glyphs. Best in Font tab, because it gives you the most option (you probably want one per line).
  2. Text editors like TextMate, Atom and SublimeText support multi line editing, so you can write the recipe for all glyph names in one go.
