Corner Component Serif Not Aligning

Hello,

I’ve been reading the documentation and searching the forums, but I can’t find what I’m doing wrong here.
Apologies if this is a noob problem, but I can’t get past it. I recently downloaded Glyphs Mini 2.

My serif does not align to the baseline. I want just a normal, plain serif there.

I’ve read some forum posts and the problem’s usually path direction, I think I have it correct though. I believe I’ve set the serif on the correct location. I’ve redrawn the rectangle because I thought maybe the corner component didn’t play well with primitives.
I have noticed the path for my serif doesn’t have arrows at the beginning and end, I don’t know what the terminology is. Not sure if the arrows are older version or if I have a different kind of path.

Hope I can get some help.

Please see attached screenshots.

Can you send me that file?

Yes Georg, what is the best way to send it to you?

send a link to the file as a direct message in the forum or an email to support at this domain.

Update: Restarted the software and created a new file. Working as intended.

The file you send has a “origin” anchor in the wrong place.

Ah yes that makes sense, I can’t see the anchor though, so I lost it. I will have to look into it.
Thank you.
