I’m working on a font with corner components. It happens regularly that the components can’t be selected in the editor. It’s unclear what triggers it. Closing and opening the tab doesn’t fix it.
A related thing: When I select a node and paste a corner component, then switch to another master, it would be very nice if the previously selected node could stay selected in the new master, as it does when switching masters without pasting. It would make pasting corner components in many masters much easier.
I know. But we have not been able to reliably reproduce this. There is some evidence that this only happens in newer macOS versions. Which macOS are you running?
I use Propagate Corner Components for this. Only paste in one master, run the script, done.
Is there a workaround for this? It only happens in specific glyphs for me, and not all masters of the same glyph. A probable side effect is that the extra nodes also become unselectable. Closing tab, restarting Glyphs, nothing seems to help.
