Couldn't export as OTF

Once I try to export as OTF, it will have a window showing ‘could not open GOADB file (error:2)’ What’s happening?

Does anybody help me? THANK YOU SOSOSOSO MUCH! :wink:

Hint: You can make a screenshot of a screen portion by pressing Cmd-Shift-4.

GOADB is the Glyph Order and Database file, which is created in your Temp folder. Two possible reasons I can think of:

  1. the permissions for your Temp folder got messed up somehow. Are other files affected as well? If yes, Script > Open Scripts Folder and verify the permissions in Finder.
  2. there are some illegal glyph names in the file,
  3. the font name has an illegal character in it.
