You should already have this crash report sent recently with crash. I attempted to delete a duplicate glyph when Glyphs3 [latest CE] crashed.
Just a thought, but try renaming it by adding .001 or .alt, then Save, then Delete.
Thanks, I will try that but it is still a bug which needs to be fixed.

Glyphs should not allow duplicates in the first place.
This was probably done when the original FLS file was exported to Glyphs.
I did try what you suggested. I changed the glyph name to “ibreveshit” and saved and safely deleted it. Your workaround worked
