Creating an icon webfont

Georg Seifert
I created a screenshot of the icon at 16, 32, 64 & 128 pts. The icon looks pixel perfect at those resolutions. I was simply wondering how I can make the stroke thinner. The font stroke is too thick at higher font sizes. I imagine I would have to adjust the UPM and grid size.

Here is the screenshot (You may have to download to view actual size resolution):

You can’t make the stems thinner. Otherwise it would get blurry or at least gray in 16px.

Hi mekkablue, were do I find the article? Did you write it? The Help of “glyphs” does not say anything about hinting, as far I could see. Thanks for any help.

Chapter 8 of the handbook deals exclusively with hinting. See the Getting Started section of this webpage for the Handbook PDF.
