Creating auto diacritics with small caps

I’m trying to create jcaron.sc, but it uses /j as the component. Is there any way to force glyphs to use j.sc as the component instead of /j?

After the fact – you can select the component and click on its name in the info pane below to select a different base glyph.

When generating a new glyph jcaron.sc, composites containing a j are set up to use jdotless as base glyph. For small caps, make sure you have a glyph called jdotless.sc, which will then automatically be used.
