Custom name removal in Features

I’m working with an existing Arabic font (SIL Open Font License). I removed the custom naming in order to see the correct letter forms, but the names in the font features remains the same, so I either have issues or I loose the features.

Is there a way to remove the custom naming so it’ll change the glyph name in the features section as well?

You can get fairly far with this: System services | Glyphs (if the old names are somehow recognizable by Glyphs).
