Cyrillic glyphs with acute

I’ll have a look.

But why do you need that glyph? Can’t you rely on mark positioning?

The font is for a text book publishing house and it might be used in a non-standard software. I want to be 100% sure, they can use the prebuilt glyphs in case an app does not support mark positioning properly.

And btw if you add anchors (Cmd-U) to U_acutecomb-cy, it creates a lowercase top anchor (I think it should not generate any anchors at all; I noticed this by accident.)

But you are sure that the substitutions will work?

Which substitutions? The prebuilt glyphs are there to be inserted manually if needed.

Never do that. That will break so many things (spell checker, searching…).

Georg, I understand your concerns and I totally agree. But I am afraid it is the only solution for Photoshop (they may need to fill in the comic book bubbles for instance). You pointed out that combining accents are ignored by PS…

But then try to get it to work with OpenType features.
