I am making a layered and connected typeface. If I understood it well, the current engines are laying the following glyph on top of the latter.
In the Glyphs preview, layers are not shown as staked. In my case, the outline should be covering the bottom layer. Is this due to how the preview works ? Or can I do something to change this ?
You can try Window > Text Preview if you set up exporting instances.
But I can’t activate both instances in that window.
What kind of color font are you making? Not CPAL?
I want to export it as a color font for web and as standalone fonts for use in apps like InDesign.
can you could have an instance that includes a COLR table. That should show up in the text preview.
