i designed a hebrew font with nikud (marks).
when i export the font and open it again, the nikud disappeared from the letters (when i press command + U i cant see the marks), and all the font categories (letters, marks, symbols etc…) are in one category - predefined sorting. what am i do wrong when i export the font? this is my first time that i export font from glyphs.
Opening a font will not give 100% of the information. So that is not a good way to check the validity of a font.
The “predefined sorting” sorting is caused by the “glyphsOrder” parameter in Font Info > Font > Custom Parameters. It will be added on import if the setting “Keep glyph names from imported files” is set in Preferences.
