Feature idea : possibility to export only vertical or horizontal PS hints

It would be nice to have more PS autohinting parameters:

  • [ ] vertical stems
  • [ ] horizontal stems
  • [ ] alignment zones

It would also be nice to set up the “get hints from master” in the exports parameters (example: when you have roman and italic in the same file, but you don’t want vertical stem hints in the italic instances)

There is a (hidden) parameter “Ignore Vertical Hints” on the font, but that only applies when auto hinting in the edit view. The postscript library is writing the final outline and it has no option to disable hints in a specific direction.
