This is a bit complicated as the selection is linked to the text in the edit view. I’ll have a look.

Could that linking not be interrupted/ignored as soon as more than one elements are selected?

Any progress on this? Multiple Selection + delete would really be great. I often want to delete a bunch of Layers but not all.
Like Mark, I would expect multiple selections to be ignored for anything outside the ability to remove the layers. I propose the first clicked would be the active one (grey) and additional would be selected but nothing else (blue).
We have a solution already in an upcoming version of Glyphs.
