In order to remove overlaps from specific paths, oftentimes I’ll find myself selecting a bunch of shapes, cutting them so they’re only in my clipboard, remove overlaps on the remaining shapes, and then pasting back the shapes I initially cut. Is there a better way? If a feature like “Remove overlap in selected paths” were implemented it would be additionally helpful because sometimes with two shapes you want only some of the paths to have their overlaps removed

You can remove overlaps for specific paths based on selection, but it will remove all overlaps in the selected paths.
What I often do issue is Reconnect Nodes.
