Two possible reasons. If the app is damaged, redownload it from http://updates.glyphsapp.com/latest2.php and replace the one you have in your Applications folder.
If this does not help, there is something more severe broken in your system. You can try in a different user to see if it is a global problem or constrained to your user.
Are you using some kind of system tinkering tool? Like antivirus software or system font replacement hacks?
thanks mekkablue
I try to reinstall the app but nothing happened same issue!!
features work fine!! when I try to launch glyphs 2 (try version) with new account on the same Mac.
problem happened on my default account with license version!!
what can I do?
Not sure I understand correctly. Everything is OK in the other user? If yes: Then the problem must be inside your user settings, and not in the app.
I don’t think it is a Problem with the app. I suspect it to be a font problem. Try clearing the font cache: https://www.glyphsapp.com/tutorials/eliminating-font-cache-problems
I did all that
nothing happened … same problem
hello Georg
I think it is a problem with my Mac admin user account ( with registered version of glyphs)
because glyphs work fine with other user account!
the problem happened also with new font file .
See what is different between the new user and your admin user, and delete caches, preferences and/or apps you only run in the admin user (especially potential malware like MacKeeper or antivirus apps). Also uninstall all locally installed fonts (FontBook > User), and restart with the Shift key held down.
If none of these help, consider transferring your documents to a new admin user.
I will transferring to new admin user.
thank you Rainer
