Flipped / rotated components in Variable fonts

Hi there,

I have some few glyphs rotated 180 degrees in my masters. Are they problematic in variable fonts?

I believe they are decomposed. So you may lose a Brace layer on the way. Other than that, I believe it should be fine. Do double check offsets and scalings of affected glyphs.

It might work if the scaling/rotating is the same in all masters. Because those properties can’t be variated.
