I’m making my first typeface and named it “Aliza.” When I export the font, it shows up as “Aliza” on my desktop and Font Book, but when I try to use it in Illustrator it shows up as “New Font Regular.” Oddly, it does show up as “Aliza” in Photoshop. Not sure what the issue is, so if you have any ideas please let me know!
What version of Glyphs do you have?
Apparently a previous installation from a time where the font info was not set yet. Are you using the Adobe Fonts folder?
Also, not a good idea to install the font in Font Book for testing. Read here why: Eliminating font cache problems | Glyphs
