Font size in Edit View via script?

Is it possible to change the font size in Edit View with a script? And does anyone know if it’s possible to change the font size at which the metrics disappear (by default it seems at 94 pt)?

In Glyphs 2.3:

tab = Font.currentTab
tab.scale = 1

in earlier versions:

tab  = Font.parent.windowController().activeEditViewController()
tab.graphicView().setScale_(1)

The threshold for the metrics in text mode it Scale * UPM >= 100. Do you like to have it for smaller sizes or hide it for bigger scale?

Great, thanks.

I would like to hide the metrics in bigger sizes, but leave the blue and yellow kerning marks visible.

I put it in the user defaults. There is no (and probably will never be a) UI for it but you can set it with this line defaults write com.GeorgSeifert.Glyphs2 TextModeNumbersThreshold 120. The last number will be used in the equation mentioned above. It will be in the next update.

wow, many thanks!

Is there also a way to remove the other little marks (the little metrics signs), so that only the kerning marks stay visible?
