I’m not sure if this already exists, but it would be very handy if we could add components with the attachment option, something like this:

the number of clicks you need to do would be the same. What would be the benefit of selecting it in the character picker instead of from the info box?
When you need to add components to multiple glyphs or masters, you have to go through each one individually and set the attachments.
But you are much ore flexible. And don’t need to deal with the connection of the stump glyph to the rest of the shapes. You can copy paste or add a bunch of corners at once …
I didn’t mean users should be forced to choose an attachment when adding a component. It would just be an extra option for those who want to use it, while the attachment could still be changed later in the Info box.
of cause, nobody is forcing anyone. Was just a suggestion.
