Funny connection when exporting fonts...?

Also, another thing I was wondering for some time now:

Every time I am exporting fonts, the network monitor reports two connections > see screenshot? The reason for the updates.glyphsapp.com seems obvious, but what’s the other one for?

Thanks for clarifying!

I’m not sure what that is. The crash report framework does collect some antonymous user metrics but has a different server. Do you have any plugins installed?

Yes!

BroadNibber
FixZeroHandles
GaugeTool
GlyphNote
InsertInflections
LayerGeek
MakeCorner
ShowInterpolation
ShowNextFont

You think any one of these could establish this connection?

Thanks!

On what kind of network were you? Public wifi? Looks like the domain name resolution was redirected via that server.

Mh… No, it was our studio network.
Here, at home, I get these connections:

I don’t know any of the two.

Out of curiosity, these are the connections I get:

Apparently, that cloudapp.net is from a Microsoft service (HockeyApp) used for user metrics, crash reports etc.

Good to know. Thanks. I disabled it for now, the metrics are not useful anyway.
