G3: Offset Curve custom parameters not copying stoke ending style

Hello! I’m trying the new Glyphs 3 Offset Curve/live stroke abilities. The rounded stroke endings in particular are helpful, as Noodler doesn’t appear to work on the new M1 Macs.

However, when I set everything up in the Filter -> Offset Curve dialog box, then click the ellipsis and copy the parameters over to the Custom Parameters section of the Font Info box, it is missing the rounded stroke ending. For example:

OffsetCurve;25;25;1;0.5;

This results in a flat stroke ending. I’ve tried adding numbers to the end of the string, but it doesn’t change anything.

How can I get the rounded stroke endings using this method?
Thank you!

I have added it.

Thank you!

I just updated to today’s cutting edge version, and indeed, the ‘cap’ element appears in the copy&paste string. However, it still doesn’t seem to change the stem endings. See screenshot: the caps should be round. I’ve tried quitting and re-opening, moving the glyph around, changing the number at the end of the ‘cap’ string, etc. but to no avail.

It works when exporting the font. I fixed the preview.
