It seems, when too many ligatures are in a window and I enter some more glyphs, the glyphs I type end up somwhere else, but not where the cursor was.
I have observed this behaviour in G3, too.
In the example SY was already there. I add letters L T to create the word SYLT. What I got is LTSY.

Also, when you switch to any of stylistic sets via either Features (bottom left)(or using the Set Palette plugin), and you had some text typed before, the characters start appearing before the letter the cursor after…
For example: in the text field you’ve got “test” typed, then you switch to .ss01 set, then you type “c” after the “t”, the “c” would appear before “t” instead
