Hi everyone,

I’ve noticed that a significant lag appears in the _Show Stem Thickness_ plugin when I open two files in G4. When only one file is open everything runs smooth. As soon as I open another file the _Show Stem Thickness_ starts freezing. Then I have to restart G4 and while I work in only one file everything is OK again.

I can’t reproduce this. What version of Glyphs and the plugin do you have?

I’m on the latest build (4108) and the plugin is installed through the Plugin Manager, so I guess it’s the latest version? I also have _Show Angled Handles_, _Show Kinks_ and _KernOn_ installed.

Can you try to remove all other plugins and see if that changes things?

OK, after removing all three plugins and re-installing and testing them one by one, the lag problem seems to be gone.

So you have installed the same plugins now and it is better now? Maybe one of the plugins was updated and you didn’t have the update, yet?

Yes.

They were originally all installed via the Plugin Manager — that should keep them always updated? And the lag was present since I installed G4 like a month ago.

Today I noticed that the _Show Stem Thickness_ disappeared after I “woke up” the computer to continue working, so I had to restart the app to get it running ok again.
