GA is suddendly Autosaving several versions

Today I noticed GA is autosaving different versions.
So like:
namefile (autosaved).glyphs
namefile (autosaved) 1.glyphs,
namefile (autosaved) 2.glyphs
etc.

How can I disable this ?

Are you opening the autosave file? Or do you have the file open several times?

No. I had the file open the whole time. In front or in the background (Command M).

Save the file and remove the remaining autosave files. If it comes back we need to have another look.
