Generate static font file from variable ttf

Hey all,

I have a variable ttf. file from which I want to create a static Instance. I wanted to use Dinamo’s Font Gauntlet, but this doesn’t seem to work anymore. Online I find some things about working with ‘fontTool’. Unfortunately this is very complex to me, since I’m not a developer. Are there any other ways/tools to achieve creating a static instance of my variable ttf. file? Or can someone explain to me how I can do this with ‘fontTool’?

If you trust Dinamo’s Font Gauntlet, whose SSL certificate has expired, you can type “thisisunsafe” and the page will load.

I can use Font Gauntlet, the download function just doesn’t work.
