“ghost” glyph

at first I would like to say thanks for this amazin application. It’s what I ever wanted, an eye friendly and stable software to create fonts.

I have a question, as you can see on the photo there is an a next to the original vector a. Is there a way to delete this?

It seems to be the content of the background layer. press cmd-B to activate it and then just delete the outline.

You put stuff there with copy paste or with the cmd-K shortcut that copies the active selection. So you could also

thanks for your fast reply. Both ways works fine for me. I didn’t know that there is some kind of „edit mask“ like in fontlab. Good to know!
